About
Dr. Vannelle grew up in Shadyside, Ohio and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University in 1976. Dr. Vannelle also earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University in 1981. He returned to his hometown to practice dentistry from 1981-2001. From 2001-2004, Dr. Vannelle taught Science and Math at Eagles Nest Ranch and Academy, an alternative school for at-risk youth in Canal Winchester, Ohio. He taught in Hillsborough, NC at Abundant Life Christian Academy. Dr. Vannelle joined the DNS staff in the 2005-2006 academic year to teach Science and Math. Dr. Vannelle presently teaches math to grades 6, 7, and 8 and also serves as the Dean of Admissions at DNS. He lives in Efland, North Carolina his with wife, Beth.
